Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church was a Welsh singer who became famous with her debut single 'Voices of an Angel which she recorded at just twelve years older. Charlotte Church is a skilled singer, who also has been a host and actor on a television show. From a young age she displayed an unnatural talent in singing and started performing with others in public at the age of 3 1/2. When she was a kid, she began singing classically of hymns and performed 'Pie Jesu' on the telephone for a television program when she was eleven. The show was followed by a performance in "The Big Big Talent Show" that brought her to the notice of the public. She was able to sing at performances in Cardiff Arms Park, and Royal Albert Hall. Charlotte's musical talent was discovered through Jonathan Shalit, one of the UK's top entertainment personalities who assisted in signing an agreement for Sony Music and became her manager. She was the youngest musician to release a top-selling album with her first release, 'Voice of an Angel.' It was released in 1999. The British cross-country charts placed the album at No. one in 1999. The singer has seen her acclaim grow over the past few years. She's even been asked to sing in front of famous personalities including past US President Clinton, Prince Charles of Wales, and Pope John Paul.
